1.After completing MBBS , MD, DGO from Medical College, Trivandrum, she has entered Medical Education service of Kerala Govt. in 1970. With 29 yrs. Of service at Medical College of Alleppey and Trivandrum in the Dept of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, retired in 1999. She worked as Senior Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at different private hospitals – Upasana Hospital, Kollam, Muthoot Hospital, Kozhenchery, Vanchinad Medical Mission Hospital, Trivandrum & Samad IVF Hospital, Trivandrum. She also was the Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Dr Somervell Memorial Hospital, Karakonam, Trivandrum (2006-2014). Presently working as Hon. Sr. Consultant of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Cosmopolitan Hospital, Trivandrum from 2014
