Markazu Ssaqafathi Ssunniyya has proposed Markaz Unani Medical College & Hospital in 2010, situated in Puthuppadi, Kozhikode District. The hospital’s objective to give proficient health care education in Unani System of Medicine to the public. It is Non Aided and 60 students studied in the college. Markaz Unani Medical College and Hospital has effectively gotten Letter of Intent (LoI) from AYUSH and anticipating for Letter of Permission (LoP) to begin affirmations for the first Professional BUMS in the scholarly year 2015-16 for 60 students.
